My first Grandchild - Tamati Eru William Friday

It seems like only yesterday my son was born. He's just become a dad and I a nanna. WOW !! It doesn't seem real. I had my son at 20, one month before my 21st b'day. I was married in May 1984 - My son was born June 9th 1984 - I had my 21st July 24th 1984. So this is my first grandchild, Tamati Eru William Hault-Friday. I will see him until he's 2months old then he will be leaving me and going to Liverpool to live in July. They made the bookings to leave on my b'day. How thoughtful huh. I am so proud to be a nanna to such a gorgeous boy !! I know my mum and dad will be so proud of their great grandson. If they were here today, I know there would be no way my son will be taking their first great grandchild outta the country. Anyway I have to support their decision and wish them the very best for the future. It looks like I will be making a lot of trips to Europe....I will miss them both. Isn't it funny I have this love for my grandson that I've never experienced before...I can't describe it. Kia kaha mo matou tinana Tamati....Hugs and kisses from nanna !!!
