Look at the mount now....SPECTACULAR !!

A couple months ago my friend and I went to Tongoriro on our way back from touring the middle of the north Island. We took a ride to the top of Whakapapa and at that time there was no snow around, as u can see from the picture on the left. Volcanic rock, we couldn't imagine snow covering the rock we were standing on. It was like something out of mars, actually it looked like mars very unusual. Now the snow has settled in on the mountain and well look for yourself. It is absolutely gorgeous !!

How can something so ugly, yes ugly and pointy, arid and rigid, turn into something so beautiful, I guess u can compare this with the "ugly duckling".........

Nature at its absolute best......

To err is human--and to blame it on a computer is even more so.
