Well here I am all ready for the Ball. It was amazing !! The evening started with a nice tall glass of my favorite red wine. At 630pm received a text to say my limo was waiting at the end of the drive. Jumped onto my carriage(cable car), it was raining, the carriage has no roof, so had to use an umbrella. My shaperone greeted me with a glass of champagne, wow....flabbergasted !! It was a smooth ride to the hotel. More champagne greeted as we arrived. We mingled and got to know each other a little better as we all worked for CCDHB, just different departments. Everyone looked amazing !!
We had a 3 course meal, smoked salmon platter, and in the picture above is Turkey with Cranberry sausage, very unusual combination, but it tasted devine !! Waiters and Waitresses contantly filling our glasses with champagne. For dessert was Kapiti ice-cream on Steam pudding and vanilla custard....there goes another 1000 calories. Gawd !! We had a DJ and the music he played was fantastic !! The evening was an evening to remember. Limo picked us up outside the hotel. The Ball was a blast.... !! Yes the Ball....
To err is human--and to blame it on a computer is even more so.
